Thematic Trail Trigger

Objective: improve the performance of 8 policy instruments to protect and enhance natural and cultural heritage by setting up thematic trails or improving existing ones, making them accessible to all through green modes of transport and readily available information.

Sistemi Territoriali provided technical support to the lead partner (Province of Livorno), creating a portal with a webGIS system for analyzing the various territorial contexts of the partners and associated tourism data (POI, infrastructures, thematic routes, restaurants, accommodations, etc.).

Objective: conduct research and development aimed at defining new technologies to improve the business of tourism companies. Some of Tourinet’s achievements, such as technologies for acquiring big data from the web and the methodology for calculating some indicators on companies, will be recapitalized in Net-Tour.

Objective: conduct research and development aimed at defining a new technological framework for online access and dissemination of structured and heterogeneous data, characterized by innovative methods for identifying, cataloging, and representing data on the Web.

Integrated Management System for Coastal Erosion

Objective: study the problem of coastal erosion in a multidisciplinary approach, creating a prototype decision support system aimed at combating this phenomena.

Archeomar

MIBACT project for the census of archaeological heritage

Objective: survey, place and document the submerged archaeological assets of Italian regions in order to improve the protection of the heritage they represent. Sistemi Territoriali was responsible for the development of the GIS and Web GIS system.
